Beauty Beginnings
I grew up in a house hold where I was number 3 of 4 girls (My poor dad – got to love a man that can put up with five women in one house)
My very first experience with beauty products was really the hand me down type. Even though genetics dictate family members to have the same skin types, inheriting your sisters face wash or old foundation is never an ideal situation…. My teenage years were tormented with breakouts and very mismatched foundation.
I did a diploma in cosmetology. This was where my passion for the beauty industry really started! Learning about the skin, how it works and how products can affect the skin makes me analyse each product a bit closer.
Now at 30, having tried and tested a lot of products I feel happy to talk about the truths and myths about skin, how it changes with age, finding the best products and safe guarding against the hype and the over promise that some products might make.
I guess this is what I would like to achieve with this blog… hopefully,
– Offer advice on your skin, your concerns and home care
– My opinion on good and not so good products
– My must try and new treatments/products in the industry
