Tinting
The cosmetic effect of eye brow and eye lash tinting is to enhance general appearance, define or correct brow shape and emphasises the lashes with intensified colour. This is a convenient way to have semi permanent colour without having to worry about applying mascara. Its suitable for most but a patch test is recommended for the first time.
Waxing
Waxing uses a resin based product that removes the hair from the root to leave the skin smooth for up to 6 weeks.
I use Adam & Eve hot wax – This is made from the finest ingredients available. The wax is manufactured to stick to the hair and not the skin resulting in a relatively painless wax in comparison to others on the market. When it comes to more intimate waxing (e.g. Brazilian) I do feel that this is a superior wax that leaves the skin smooth and less irritated.
For most people their first Brazilian wax is always a bit daunting… I would like to think that I inspire confidence with clients as this has translated to great word or mouth referrals. I will do a consultation explaining exactly what the procedure involves and what you would like to get out of the treatment.
I offer my clients the option of wearing a disposable g-string if they feel nervous and always use a towel to keep you covered. It is recommended to exfoliate the night before and to come freshly washed.
Eyelash Extensions
For years eyelash extensions were just a part of photographic and fashion makeup…. not anymore!
Last year really saw a boom in the eyelash extension market going from special occasion to every day wear.
They make the world of difference. It only takes about 90 minutes from start to finish for a full set of lashes and the effects are immediate!
I use different lengths and thicknesses to produce a custom look that suits you. Eyelash extensions grow out with your natural lashes.
There are two very important aspects in achieving a great set of lashes
1) soft natural lashes
2) non irritating but long lasting glue.
Having done a lot of research into eyelash extensions I found an amazing product in Fablashes.
Each extension is a single fibre that is individually attached to one of your existing eyelashes. Remember Express lashes are NOT the same as lash extensions. If you are sitting in a chair and your procedure is taking just 20 – 30 mins they will not give you the same result often leaving you disappointed with the final effect.
With good habits and home care a proper set of lashes can last up to 3 weeks.
